Welcome to My Embroidery Hobby!

Hello! Welcome to my blog. This is the place where I do a little of a lot. I am not really fantastic at one thing or hobby, only okay at a bunch of little things. But that is what makes it fun! I am also a major copycat crafter. I find things I like and then make my own, I rarely come up with good ideas on my own. So Thank You to all you crafters out there who give me great ideas and projects to do!

File Folder Games

I finally finished some! I have been wanting to make these for a long time.

I have found several places online that offer free (and for sale) file folder games.

I printed everything on cardstock then laminated them using my new laminator (YAE!) and cut them out. Since the file folders don't fit into the laminator and I didn't want to spend $3 per folder to get them laminated, I found a 12" wide roll (10 yards in length) of Peel & Stick Clear Laminate at Walmart for about $5. I used this to cover the inside and outside of each folder.
Then put all the pieces in ziplock bags and taped them to the back of the folders.
Ready To Go! Michele has already loved playing with them :)

***Side Note: Ink is expensive and file folder games use a lot of ink. We have a Brother printer which has 4 different color cartridges, to buy all 4 in a bundle pack costs $50-60. BUT I found this store on Ebay called Source of Ink where I purchased a 20 pack (5 of each cartridge color) for $23.85 with FREE shipping. I know it isn't Brother brand ink and it is an Ebay store so I was a little wary, but I have a friend who bought ink from them for his HP printer and he gave me a great recommendation, they are also a Top-rated Seller so I tried them out. I have been using their ink for about 2 months and find it high quality ink and works perfectly with my printer.
I am just telling you so if you don't demand name brand ink, this place is where to get great printer ink for a great price.
This is why I am able to print all of my file folder game papers and have no guilt about using up ink!
